Brief Description:
The Bracknagh Pig Unit Development for Rosderra Irish Meats involved the demolition of existing agricultural structures and construction of a new large-scale pig production facility at Bracknagh, Co. Offaly.
The development comprises approximately 10,000 m² of reinforced concrete and prefabricated steel structures, including pig housing units, an office building, slurry and effluent tanks, drainage infrastructure and associated site development works. Tower acted as Main Contractor and PSCS, delivering the civil, structural, building and external works.

Detailed Description:
Tower delivered the main construction package for the Bracknagh Pig Unit Development, including demolition, groundworks, reinforced concrete, structural works, drainage, services and external works.
Concrete works included foundations, walls, underground slurry and effluent tanks and channels, 300-500 mm thick in-situ slabs laid to falls, and precast slatted flooring.
Site infrastructure included foul, stormwater and process-water drainage, attenuation, service ducts, hardstandings, access roads and yards. Tower acted as Main Contractor and PSCS, coordinating the works to the project design, safety requirements and programme.
