Brief Description:
Phase 1 of the Irish Casings Company Spollenstown Upgrade Works involved a wide-ranging package of civil, structural, and utility upgrades across an active industrial facility.
The project focused on improving site infrastructure, services, access control, and operational efficiency. Tower acted as main contractor, managing all civil works, demolition, construction, traffic management, and health and safety on site.

This project involved comprehensive site-wide infrastructure and building upgrades for the Irish Casings Company at their Spollenstown plant in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
Works included the removal and reinstatement of concrete hardstand areas, installation of a new macadam car park, and upgrading of existing electrical, drainage, and watermain services.
Tower also managed the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new buildings, including a new loading bay.
Significant enhancements to site security and access were delivered, including automated entrance gates, access control systems, steel personnel and roller doors, and insulated panel and high-speed doors. Electrical and security systems were comprehensively upgraded throughout the facility.
As main contractor, Tower ensured strict adherence to health and safety regulations, delivering all works with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
