The Millennium Square project involved the transformation of a key urban space in Tullamore.
Tower carried out the removal of existing surfaces, retaining specified paving for future reuse, and installed 400 m² of Portuguese granite paving using its in-house team of 35–40 skilled paving operatives. Works also included the integration of street furniture, precast concrete planters, soft landscaping, and the installation of two bespoke glider-style canopy systems to enhance the square’s functionality and aesthetics.
Tower managed all traffic and pedestrian interfaces, implementing appropriate management measures while liaising closely with ESB, Eir, Virgin Media, the public lighting contractor, and Offaly County Council to ensure seamless coordination.
As main contractor and PSCS, Tower ensured a high-quality finish while delivering the project safely, on time, and with minimal disruption to the public.
